Installation and Usage

Since I can’t show how to use each and every tool in Data Studio, I’m going to pick one and show you how to create a bootable disk. As I said before, the bootable disk is very helpful in emergency situations or when you cannot boot into your system. To start, download Active@ Data Studio from the official website and install it like any other Windows software.
After installing, launch Data Studio. The first thing you need to do is register the software, otherwise you will be limited in what you can do with it. To register, click on the “Register” link appearing on the upper-right corner.
Select “Register or upgrade software” and click on the “Next” button.
Now, enter the registered name, registration key and click “Next” to complete the registration process.
To create a bootable disk, select the Data Recovery tab on the left panel and click on the option “Active@ Boot Disk.”
Since we want to create a bootable USB drive, plug in a USB drive. Now, select the “USB Flash Drive” option, select the USB drive from the dropdown menu and click on the “Next” button to continue.
Select the “Windows” option and click on the “Next” button to continue. If you want to, you can also customize the boot settings, user files, drives, etc. However, don’t change the settings unless you know what you are doing.
Review the settings and click on the “Create” button.
The above action will start the creation process. It will take a few minutes to complete. So, sit back and wait.
Once the procedure is complete, the software will let you know the same.
From this point onward, you can use this USB drive in emergency situations to boot into your system.
